AI Visibility Report

Find out why AI recommends your competitors instead of you

We test how your firm appears across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Gemini and Copilot, benchmark you against three named competitors, and tell you why the answer looks the way it does. Analysed by a person, back in about 48 hours, at no cost.

  • Five AI surfaces tested with your buyers' actual questions
  • Three named competitors benchmarked alongside you
  • The reason you are or are not cited, not a score out of 100
  • Fixes ranked by impact, yours to keep

No cost and no obligation.

What you get back

Interpretation rather than output. The value is in knowing why, because the why decides what you do about it.

Where you appear, and where you do not

Tested across five surfaces with the questions your buyers actually ask, not brand-name searches that any firm wins.

Why, in each case

Whether it is crawler access, entity ambiguity, page structure, or that a third-party list is being cited instead of anybody's website. The reason determines the fix.

A named competitor benchmark

The same tests run against three named rivals from your market. This is the part no automated tool does, and usually the part that lands.

Ranked fixes

What to do first, what can wait, and what is not worth doing. Yours to act on with or without us.

The five surfaces we test

These are not interchangeable. One study of 34,234 AI responses found only around 11% of domains are cited by both ChatGPT and Perplexity, so being visible on one tells you very little about the others.

ChatGPTThe narrowest citation set of the five. Leans on third-party lists.
PerplexityCites far more freely and weights recent content heavily.
Google AI OverviewsWhere the click loss is most measurable.
GeminiDistinct source selection from AI Overviews despite sharing an index.
CopilotFed by Bing indexing, which most firms have never checked.

How is this different from a free AI visibility checker?

Instant checkers are a commodity now. Ahrefs runs one with no signup, and there are several others. They will tell you whether your brand came up. That is a useful thirty seconds and we would not try to compete with it.

What they cannot do is tell you why, or compare you against the three specific firms you actually lose work to. Those need someone to read the answers, look at what is being cited instead of you, and work out whether the problem is access, identity, structure or the fact that a directory is absorbing the citation entirely.

That is a person for a couple of hours, which is why it takes 48 hours rather than 30 seconds and why we run a limited number at a time.

What happens after you submit

01

We run the tests

Your firm and three named competitors we identify from your market, across all five surfaces, using the questions your buyers ask rather than your brand name.

02

You get the report in about 48 hours

Written by a person. If we are at capacity, we tell you that instead of leaving you waiting.

03

You decide what to do with it

The fixes are yours. Act on them internally, hand them to whoever runs your site, or talk to us. There is no obligation attached and no sequence of emails.

FAQ

Questions about the report

Why does ChatGPT recommend my competitor and not me?

Because something about their site makes them easier to cite. It may be crawler access, it may be that their firm resolves as a known entity and yours does not, or it may be that a third-party list names them and AI is drawing from that list rather than from anyone's website. The report tells you which.

What do I actually get?

A human read of why you are or are not cited, tested across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Gemini and Copilot, benchmarked against three named competitors. Plus the fixes, ranked by impact. Not a score out of 100 and not an automated printout.

How is this different from a free AI visibility checker?

Automated checkers tell you whether you were mentioned. They do not tell you why, and they cannot compare you against the specific rivals you actually lose deals to. Several run free with no signup, so there is no point competing with them on the check itself. The value here is the interpretation.

Is it really free, and will I be added to a mailing list?

It is free, and there is no obligation attached. We use it to show a problem that is hard to see from the inside, on the reasonable expectation that some firms will want help fixing it. You get the report and a follow-up asking what you thought. No sequence, no list you have to escape.

How long does it take?

Around 48 hours. It is analysed by a person rather than generated, so it is not instant, and we run a limited number at a time. If we are at capacity when you submit, you will hear that rather than being left waiting.
